Who is the most hated character of the franchise?

Posts: 1,356 Group: Member Member #7,850 Joined: June 27, 2012 Favourite Anime Dragonball Favourite Manga Dragonball	This isn't about who is your most hated character but who you think is the most hated character among the general fanbase. This can include anyone from DB/Z/GT or the movies. I think Pan is probably the most hated. Many say GT sucked largely because of her annoying personality and the fact that she acted like the show was all about her. She also replaced the likes of Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta and Goten as a central character and had more screen time than any of them which further distanced the show from Z. Although I actually don't have a problem with Pan most of the time. She was fine in Z and proved useful later on in GT despite an annoying start. She kind of reminds me of Scrappy Doo from the Scooby Doo series who is also a very hated character who tries to take centre screen, has a fiery temper and thinks he's tougher than he is. Many fans say he caused a decline in ratings and made the show difficult to sit through because he was so annoying and also replaced old favourites as a central character. Who do you think is the most hated character among the fanbase and why?

But yeah, she is easily the one getting the most hate in GT. Other than that, I can't think of anyone in DB and DBZ who is universally hated, even Gotenks who a lot of people hate (me included) is liked by many as well. The ones receiving some hate are -Fat Buu -Gotenks -And I guess grown-up Gohan, in the sense that people liked him better when he was a kid

Other than that, I think Gotenks' cockiness and immaturity would provide him some hate amongst the western fans. Definately not the japanese fans though, as he was the 4th most popular character in the Boo Arc popularity poll. Vegeta also recieves a lot of hate from Toei, considering he usually gets the most dragged out or violent beatings (Constant beating against Pure Boo, Prolonged beating against Super #17, Being hit by Yi Xing Long's Dragon Thunder, etc.). Broly also seems like a love-hate character amongst the fans, mainly due to his lack of depth in movies 10 and 11. Him not being included in Movie 12 or the Super #17 Arc suggests how Toei felt as well.

Posts: 1,078 Group: Member Member #8,530 Joined: November 6, 2012	Frieza is also hated by Toei. The amount of times he's rediculed and treated as a stepping stone for new characters is redicilous. All after the original Frieza saga. Any movie he's in he has a brief appearance to get one-shotted. in GT as well.

I think the Broly-hate comes mostly from some people thinking he's too overrated by his fans. I would put Broly in the popular list rather than the hated, considering his popularity being only a movie character.

I'm not sure I'd say Toei hates Vegeta. Him taking all of those huge beatings and continuing to get up and fight just makes him seem more badass. In the manga he got slaughtered by Kid Buu but Toei made it so he could take a huge beating and land some good hits.

Google Favourite Manga Warn a Brother	Broly is pretty hated, I have seen people underrate him to the point his touching Freeza level or you got pakl or Vegito 1089 or Yoshi who make up there own logic just to put Movie 10 LSSJ equal with SPC or even under.
